You don’t need a ranch to start. One well-tended pot teaches more than ten that dry out.

How it works

01

Look at your space

You answer a few short questions: where you grow, how much sun you get, what your water and climate are like. With that the course builds your path.

02

Learn

One lesson a week, 10 to 15 minutes. Each one tells you how it’s done at your scale: balcony, yard, garden or farm.

03

Grow and take notes

Each lesson brings an exercise and a practice for the week. Your notes are saved in the portal and only you see them.

What’s included

  • 12 lessons in order: from observing your space to designing it, through soil, compost, water, milpa, companion planting, the four elements and biodynamic preparations.

  • A diagnosis of your space that gives you your path: what to look after first given your sun, water, climate and time.

  • Every lesson at four scales: balcony, yard, garden and farm.

  • A “Go deeper” section in every lesson, with the sources: Mollison, INIFAP’s manual, SEDEMA, CENAPRED, Steiner and others.

  • Your own notes in every lesson, saved to your account.

  • In Spanish and English, on your phone or computer.

Questions

Do I need to know anything first?

No. The course starts from zero and explains every word the first time it appears.

Does it work if I only have a balcony?

Yes. Each lesson explains how to do it on a balcony or rooftop, minding sun, water and weight.

Will it work for my climate?

The course distinguishes three Mexican climates: hot humid tropics, highlands with frost and the dry north. If you live elsewhere, the ideas still apply, but you’ll need to adjust the dates to your region.

Does biodynamics really work?

We tell you what has been studied and what is tradition. Compost, living soil and companion planting are proven practice. The preparations and the lunar calendar are tradition: we explain them honestly and you decide whether to try them.
